Ethics of Caring Scholarships

Background

The Ethics of Caring, a non-profit organization, hosts the annual Ethics of Caring National Nursing Ethics Conference (NNEC). Ethics of Caring aims to empower nurses and healthcare professionals to engage in complex, ethical challenges of care to effect needed change and to affirm the mutually enriching qualities of patient-family-caregiver encounters.

Scholarships aim to allow more healthcare professionals to experience the powerful connections and learning that takes place during the conference. We embrace the critical importance of educating and supporting the next generation of nurses and other caregivers to provide leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating competent, compassionate, and responsible ethical care.

Our Generous Donors

Over the years, Ethics of Caring has established a variety of scholarships to attend the two
day conference. These generous donors funded the scholarships through directed donations, by our sponsors, and from many speakers who donated their honorariums.
