Available Scholarships
We know conferences can be expensive and funds have generally decreased. In order to provide access to the National Nursing Ethics of Caring Annual Conference, there are several scholarships available. Please review the scholarships below, and select one to submit an application. You may apply for more than one scholarship, but you will need to submit a separate application for each scholarship. Each scholarship will be reviewed separately.

Ann Hamric Memorial Scholarship
Nursing graduate students at the master’s or doctoral level with an interest in bioethics can apply.
Four recipients can receive registration for the full two-day conference.
Ethics of Caring Scholarship
Professionals interested in healthcare ethics can apply.
Eight recipients can receive registration for the full two-day conference allocated for: six nurses, one social worker, and one hospital chaplain
Minority Ethic Nurse Scholarship
A registered nurse with a minority ethnic background with an interest in developing further knowledge and skills in ethics can apply.
One recipient can receive registration for the full two-day conference.
Linda Tigert Scholarships
Early Career
 A nurse early in their career (less than five years) who is interested in developing knowledge in ethics can apply.
One recipient can receive registration for the full two-day conference.
Active in Ethics
A clinical nurse who is actively involved in ethics in their institution can apply.
One recipient can receive registration for the full two-day conference.
Nursing Faculty
Nursing faculty who are actively involved in teaching ethics in their School of Nursing can apply.
Two recipients can receive registration for the full two-day conference.
